Matthew S. Johnson, DO – Owner and Founder
Dr. Johnson is a board-certified family medicine physician, dual trained in both family medicine and emergency medicine. He has extensive experience with complex medical cases, complex wounds, and dermal reconstruction of traumatic injuries – to include facial trauma. His breadth of knowledge allows him the ability to understand and embrace both the structure and function of a given medical challenge.
Dr. Johnson is also an SSRP certified practitioner, allowing him a much higher understanding of the biochemistry of disease processes and how to treat them. He is sought after for his skills nationwide, and he has medical licensure in four states.
Candi D. Johnson – Medical Aesthetician – Owner and Founder
Mrs. Johnson is a trained medical aesthetician with a heart for cancer patients. Many years ago, she suffered the loss of her primary caregiver to ovarian cancer when she was pre-adolescent. Her desire to help those who suffer from the effects of chemotherapy and radiation therapy with regards to appearances has led her to pursue this career field, and open this clinic. She looks forward to helping you look your best, and bring out the best in you.
Ameer Abedrabbo – Exercise Physiologist and Athletic Performance
Mr. Abedrabbo graduated from the University of Rutgers with a degree in Exercise Science and Sport Studies. His focus is on the athletic performance, and maximizing the human body’s ability within its current state. He can handle clients that are 24 – at the peak of their physical health, and 84, with heart conditions, diabetes, and a desire to better themselves as best they can. His entire focus is developing a tailor-made program that allows you to improve your strength, muscle mass, and endurance, without
unrealistic expectations. He is available by appointment, and he looks forward to helping you meet a higher athletic level.
Cynthia Thompson – RN
Ms. Thompson has been a registered nurse for six years. She is a highly motivated, enthusiastic professional with a strong background in Emergency Medicine. She possesses excellent communication, phlebotomy and injection skills. She is excited for the opportunity to be able to cultivate and advance her skills in this new venture.
Maude von Ehrenkrook – Operations
Ms. von Ehrenkrook has a degree in International Relations and has lived and traveled around the world. She is an entrepreneur with experience starting multiple companies and non-profits. Her knowledge of various business industries and the ins and outs of starting a business from scratch were hard-earned through many years and much experience. Currently owning and running two businesses of her own, Ms. von Ehrenkrook is honored to work with The Hourglass Medical Spa managing the operations of the clinic so the others can focus on helping their clients achieve their best selves.
